Posted By: How May I Help You NC on November 01, 2013 Position Objective: The position is part of Functional QC group. The purpose of the group is to conduct function tests of Ion Reagents and Reagents Kits, validate instruments, and support the product development activities. The group acts as customer’s advocate and contributes directly to revenue of the division. Essential Functions: 1) Organize and conduct functional QC of Ion Reagents Kits. 2) Summarize data to provide assessment of product performance. 3) Plan and execute troubleshooting experiments to identify the root cause of lower-than-spec QC results. 4) Maintain accurate QC batch records and files according to quality standards (e.g. ISO compliance, GLP/GMP requirements). Education and Experience: Degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or other related discipline. 2 years industry experience especially working knowledge with Next-Gen sequencing is preferred. Knowledge of quality standards and practice (ISO, GLP, GMP) is preferred. *Minimum Qualifications (must have) Education and Experience: Degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or other related discipline. *Preferred Qualifications (nice to have) 2 years industry experience especially working knowledge with Next-Gen sequencing is preferred.
