Somebody help me understand?

Somebody help me understand?
Posted By: Corey McCann on November 28, 2005

Why is it that most (not all) girls look for a man that is a thug, dumb and fine, or just plain ignorant. Many times I've approached women with respect and got rejected. For example, "Excuse me. My name is Corey and I just wanted to let you know that I noticed you and you seem like a nice person..." and all of a sudden I get dissed or turned down. Now if a guy says "Yo ma, what up. Gurl you lookin' good and I just wanted to let you know that yo body is bangin" those are the type of boys that get respect and girls like. Can sombody help me understand why nice guys are finishing last?

it sounds like they don't have positive male role models to set an example or it could be rebellion from a parent saying not to go with these type of men. There are so many reasons for this. Look at this, it is a good thing they rejected you because if you were with them, you would have left them any way. When young ladies are being told those guys are not worth it, it is the same for the young men. Be happy your are still single for the moment, enjoy yourself as aperson before God brings the one he wants you to be with. God Bless

well its crazy that women are like spagetti like slips off to often so it takes a bad guy to have a good meal, but you know serious guys does live on spagetties alone,if you are responsible you will surely go to responsible places and meet respectable girls,i have tried chatting here too, major people are dirty so i stopped chatting, discover yourself and know who you are made to associate with remember not everybody deserves your attention, not matter who you are,and not every beautiful girl is indeed beautiful it takes character and right atittude

Some girls have never been around decent men who show them respect. They've only been around thugs and are used to the way they speak to them- no matter how degrading it may sound to everyone else. So when a nice guy like you approaches them, they think ur weak and have no game. But don't get discouraged- one day you're going to meet a girl who is sick of having guys holla at her; your kind and honest words will be what she'll want to hear.

I totally agree. Although I have found that women who like those types of men haven’t grown up or are not the classy women they proclaim to be.

Everyone isn't for everybody. You'll meet all the wrong women so that you can meet the right one. Let go and let God...your time is coming!
