HSRN, The Network - Voice of Choice, Expands

Posted By: Reginald Culpepper on December 30, 2013 The Heritage Sports Radio Network (HSRN) known as “The Voice of HBCU Sports”, will launch the new HSRN “Network” the “Voice of Choice” as it expands its services from strictly a broadcast platform for HBCU football and basketball games, to a fully 24/7 Network, streaming programming for the HBCU community and beyond. "Since our inception in {2006} we have been have had a vision of providing programming to service the entire community," says HSRN President and CEO, Omarr Bashir. "With the hard work and dedication of several individuals, we are finally able to bring this concept to fruition." “HSRN - The Network “The Voice of Choice” format will not only consist of live broadcast of HBCU football and basketball games, but will also include; - HBCU Coaches Shows - Talk shows - Re-broadcast of HBCU collegiate games - Original sports programming from HBCU schools - HBCU Lifestyle and Community issues Since 2006, HSRN has broadcast more black college sporting events than any other sports network. By combining state of the art technology with cutting edge programming, HSRN will become “the preeminent “Voice of Choice” of HBCU news and sports. HSRN - The Network the "Voice of Choice" programming will consists not only of game broadcasts, but talk shows, feature segments and news updates from around the entire HBCU community to provide a broad canvas to paint an accurate picture of this unique sports community. Our mission will be to entertain and educate our audience as we pay tribute to the stars of yesteryear and those currently on the rise. "We recognize that is was time for someone to create a voice for a community that has been a long productive part of the world" said Program Director Thomas Hill.
