Posted By: How May I Help You NC on February 24, 2014 Computer Technologies Instructor, Networking Apply at: http://jobs.tmcc.edu/postings/302 Position Description: Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC), located in Reno, Nevada is seeking applicants for a Computer Networking Instructor. The primary teaching responsibilities will be in networking and server technologies disciplines including: Cisco Networking, Microsoft or Linux operating system installation and configuration and Cyber Security. Other primary responsibilities include creating new courses/programs, revising curriculum, developing new pedagogical techniques, and working in a team environment with other instructors to deliver curriculum and instruction in ways that meet the changing needs of the community. Conditions of Employment: This is a full-time, tenure track position reporting to Dean of Sciences. “B” 172 day contracts are for academic year programs and obligate the faculty member for service during the academic year. For contractual purposes, the period of the contract begins August and ends with spring graduation in May. This position is eligible for Zero Rank (market rate placement) without tenure status depending on candidate qualifications.
