Langston University 2014 Commencement Announcement

Langston University 2014 Commencement Announcement
Posted By: How May I Help You NC on March 04, 2014

Dear Faculty, Staff, Students and Alumni,

I am pleased to announce Roland S. Martin as our speaker for the 114th Commencement of Langston University on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Martin is the host and managing editor of TV One's NewsOne.

NewsOne is the first daily morning news program in history to focus on news and analysis of politics, entertainment, sports, and culture from an explicitly African American perspective. Martin is a nationally syndicated columnist with Creators Syndicate, and is senior analyst for the Tom Joyner Morning Show, where his segment is heard on more than 100 stations and by 8 million people daily. Martin has enjoyed a journalistic career that has seen him interview multiple U.S.

presidents, top athletes and entertainers in Hollywood.

Martin will bring a strong, inspirational message to the Langston University graduating class of 2014. I am certain that his background and experiences will motivate our graduates as they join the ranks among more than 16,000 living Langston alumni worldwide.

I look forward to celebrating the success of our graduating class of 2014 with you on May 16, 2014.

Go Lions!
