Virginia Tech Recreational Sports Hot Job: Assistant Director of Fitness and Wellness

Position Summary: Provides management and leadership to the fitness and wellness program with the Department of Recreational Sports to include group exercise, personal training, small group training, fitness events, wellness programs, fitness assessment and fitness instructional programs. Supervises all fitness programming staff, which includes 1 full-time staff and over 100 student staff.

Leads the department in fitness and wellness activities in collaboration with the Division of Student Affairs. Position is an integral part of the department�s leadership team and assists with creating, implementing, and representing the department�s mission, vision, and values to the university community in order to promote collaboration in support of the University and Division of Student Affairs missions.
