New Scholarship Opportunity for Postbaccalaureate Students Interested in Biological and Biomedical Science at UConn!
|
Posted By: Lana Angelo on April 15, 2014 The Connecticut Institute for Clinical and Translational Science (CICATS) at the University of Connecticut is offering a program called the Young Innovative Investigator Program (YIIP), a 1-2 year program at UConn, that provides academic training and mentorship to postbaccalaureate students from underrepresented minority groups who wish to pursue careers as scientists in biological and biomedical science. Please see attached poster and brochure to share with your students and colleagues. Scholarships are available to students who are accepted to the program. Due to a recent influx of requests from prospective applicants, we’ve decided to extend the application deadline to Monday April 28, 2014. For additional information, please visit http://cicats.uconn.edu/yiip/ or contact Lana Angelo, Administrative Program Coordinator, at langelo@uchc.edu or 860-679-7661.
