Posted By: Evangela Chance on March 18, 2005 Today March 18, 2005 Florida Memorial College has changed to Florida Memorial University. We have changed for the better so take note. There is no longer a Florida Memorial College we made history today. We are still an Historical Black College we just changed our name to university. It's still the same Lion's Den.. Now we are roaring more and more louder. I am very proud of my school. LET ME HEAR THEM LION'S ROAR!!!! Congrads, So did the college I attend. Huston-Tillotson College, in Austin,Tx (Austin's 1st Institution of higher Education) Is no longer Huston-Tillotson College, were now Huston-Tillotson University and are proud to announce that we are "Doin It Big" HTU.
