HBCU CONNECT Member Reports Being Hired from Microsoft VIP HR Event in D.C.!

Posted By: Will Moss on April 22, 2014 HBCU CONNECT recently held an event in Alexandria, Virginia to help Microsoft connect with African American HR professionals at Virtue Feed and Grain on March 25th, 2014. One of the professionals that attended the event has reported being hired from the event already, and we are excited to congratulate Dany Bourjolly Smith and Microsoft's Corporate HR team for making it happen! Here is a quote from the email we received from Dany: "I had the pleasure of attending your mixer with Microsoft on March 17th in VA. For me, it was a tremendous opportunity to take the relationships I had cultivated with the Microsoft Recruiting Team to the next level. Because of the opportunity to come face to face with my recruiters and other senior HR professionals at the event, I received a contract as a Talent Program Manager on Bridgett Paradise's team.
