COLLEGE LEADS TO CRIMINAL ARRESTS AND CONVICTION

COLLEGE LEADS TO CRIMINAL ARRESTS AND CONVICTION
Posted By: Daniel Moss on December 07, 2005

Making poor decisions while you are in college can leave you without a degree and serving jail time. This author interviews and delves into the lives of college students who've made poor decisions that cost them their freedom and education. Imagine falling short of money and being offered the opportunity to make fast cash gambling, manufacturing drugs, or selling fake IDs to be used for credit card fraud? Could you resist the urge to illegally increase your income from $100 to $1,000 weekly? Imagine spending time in jail because you ignored those parking tickets. Imagine having to make that dreaded call to your parents for bail money? Imagine getting arrested, losing your financial aid, and being expelled from college, simply because you hung around a student who frequently gets high and occasionally slings “bags”? And the sad part about it is that YOU don’t even get high. Imagine doing time for a crime you didn’t even commit.

This book was written to help college students and future college students become aware of the choices and consequences they may face during their college experience.

College can be a very arduous period in life. Yet, it can be very rewarding. College is deeper than the façade of simply going to class and studying for exams. Today, a lurking culture exists in the midst of college life. It is a culture that is as unique to college as pacifiers are to a baby. There are expectations for survival in the college world just as there are in the business world.

Come take a journey with author Pamela Jewell and experience real-life stories that demystify commonly-held beliefs about the safety and security of college life.
