Texas Southern Football Game Moved To The Bahamas

Posted By: Hija Chang on May 23, 2014 Texas Southern announced a change in the school’s football schedule Wednesday, moving the Tigers’ Sept. 13 contest against Central State to the Bahamas. The game, initially scheduled to be played in Wilberforce, Ohio on the CSU campus, is now being promoted as the Bahamas HBCUX Classic be played at Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium in Nassau at 5 p.m. “We’re extremely excited to announce our partnership to play in Nassau,” said TSU athletics director Charles McClelland in a statement. “This game will give our fans the opportunity to watch exciting Tigers football in a city that is known as one of the premier tourist destinations in the world.
