Pres. Boyd meets with Nigerian government officials and ASU's Nigerian students today!

WHO: President Boyd & ASU's Nigerian students will meet with Nigerian diplomats, senators and other government officials from Nigeria to check on the students and their studies. This afternoon, ASU President Gwendolyn E. Boyd will be meeting with ASU's Nigerian students and a delegation of Nigerian diplomatic and governmental officials who will be visiting Alabama State University to meet with and check on the over 50 ASU students who are citizens of Nigeria. News media invited The news media is invited and there will be several news stories that may be found by covering this event, which may include student and Nigerian government reaction to having students from their nation in school in Alabama, as well as the student's reaction in being so far away from home, and how they cope with different people, food, customs and environments.
