Posted By: How May I Help You NC on August 08, 2014 Tyler (KETK) — Texas College hired a new football coach Thursday. Rodney Blackshear will take over the Steers. He was a two-time all-conference wide reciever for Texas Tech in the last '80s and early '90s. "I was fortunate to play for coach Spike Dykes at Texas Tech, I coached under Mike Leach and I coached under Art Briles at the U. of H.," Blackshear said. "I have a good foundation to work from."
