"We really appreciate what coach Hopson has done in elevating our football program to the next level. It feels good to be recognized as one of the top teams in the SWAC," said President Rankins. Hopkins signed a three-year contract extension Thursday that will keep him in charge of leading the Braves to prominence for the next three seasons.
