Braves Sports: Alcorn State's Hopson Signed to Extension

Posted By: Hija Chang on August 08, 2014 Courtesy Alcorn State Sports Information Fri, August 08, 2014 LORMAN, Miss. - It didn't take Alcorn President Alfred Rankins Jr. long to award Braves head football coach Jay Hopson for his exceptional leadership of the University's football program. "We really appreciate what coach Hopson has done in elevating our football program to the next level. It feels good to be recognized as one of the top teams in the SWAC," said President Rankins. Hopkins signed a three-year contract extension Thursday that will keep him in charge of leading the Braves to prominence for the next three seasons.
