Valerie Montgomery Rice, MD, is the sixth president of Morehouse School of Medicine and the first woman to lead the free-standing medical institution. A Harvard-educated obstetrician and gynecologist, she is a nationally recognized infertility expert and clinical scientist who brings more than 10 years of executive administrative leadership to the position. “I consider it an honor that our board is entrusting me with the responsibility of continuing to build on the legacy of this preeminent institution,” said Dr. Montgomery Rice. “The vision is crystal clear.
