RSVP For VIP Networking Event in Atlanta @ The National Black MBA Conference!
Posted By: Will Moss on August 18, 2014

In partnership with Brown-Forman Corporation, one of the nation's largest and most profitable wine and spirits companies, HBCU CONNECT is proud to offer experienced black sales, marketing, finance, and IT professionals the opportunity to meet and network with representatives from Brown-Forman at an upcoming VIP reception. Presented in conjunction with the 2014 National Black MBA Conference in downtown Atlanta, GA, the event will offer attendees an invitation to learn more about exciting careers at Brown-Forman and network with successful peers. The event, which also includes free food and beverages for confirmed attendees, will take place on September 18th from 5pm to 8pm and is RSVP only.

In addition to the upcoming VIP networking event offered in partnership with Brown-Forman's Office of Diversity & Inclusion, HBCU CONNECT has coordinated many other fruitful networking experiences for its members. Among the most notable is collaborating with Microsoft’s diversity recruitment team at the National Society of Engineers conference in 2013, providing an excellent venue for HBCU CONNECT's large number of IT professional members to interact with Microsoft representatives. “We anticipate a large turnout for the Atlanta networking evening, including upwards of 100 successful black professionals hoping to score impressive interviews with Brown-Forman recruitment leaders. We look forward to providing our members and other attendees with opportunities to hear more about the diversity environment at Brown-Forman and how African Americans comprise a vital part of their workforce,” said Will Moss, CEO of HBCUConnect.com. “Our events offer unique opportunities for experienced black professionals to get a 'taste' of the culture at companies like Brown-Forman, and they tend to fill up quickly.

Our friends interested in attending should RSVP as soon as possible since the exclusive venue can only accommodate so many."

The upcoming event will be an excellent chance for African Americans working in sales, marketing, finance, and IT to forge new professional relationships, increase their peer and professional contacts, and learn about Brown-Forman's career opportunities for outstanding black professionals.

The VIP Professional Networking Reception will be held on September 18th from 5pm to 8pm in conjunction with the 2014 National Black MBA Conference in downtown Atlanta and is RSVP only. Precise location information, parking info, and a detailed agenda will be shared after attendance is confirmed.
