Posted By: How May I Help You NC on September 03, 2014 Boston College Introduction The office handles all aspects of recruitment, marketing, advising, health and safety, academics, and assessment for 60 BC semester/academic year programs, 30 summer faculty-led programs, and a growing number of semester and summer internship opportunities. Working closely with all OIP staff members, the Receptionist / Staff Assistant is the first point of contact for all inquiries to the OIP, which involves answering and directing calls; taking messages; following up on inquires after consulting with other staff; and welcoming and providing information and resources to students and visitors, who come from all regions of the world. The Receptionist / Staff Assistant also maintains the office's e-mail account, updates website content, provides assistance for OIP events, and assists with other projects as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of one to two years of general office work experience, preferably in high education. Excellent organizational and communication skills as well as strong computer skills required. Preference given to experience living abroad and proficiency in a foreign language.
