Long Time No See!

Long Time No See!
Posted By: Traci T. on December 17, 2005

I know it's been a while, but I had to get my stuff together for the transition between high school and college. I just finished my first semester at the University of North Texas and it was pretty kool to say the least. Some of the people up here don't really know I'm a freshman because I don't tend to hang with freshmen. I've always been drown to an older crowd. Practically all of my friends up here are sophomores and up. The freshmen make me sick because they tend to do typical stuff.

Whenever they act a fool or do something similar to that of a child, someone is always quick to say "Hey, you not like the other freshmen." Like they expect me to be loud, novice, and/or go home every weekend. If they only knew. I am one of those unfortunate people who's birthday is late. Therefore, everyone in my graduating class was a few months to maybe a year+ younger than me. So I've been stuck with younger people all my life. Being around freshmen is just like being back in high school and I don't tend to walk backwards.

I know what you i aslo have a late birthday as well. Although im only a sophomore in high school i still tend to end up with college boyfreinds and friends just because of how independent i am which made it seem like i was forced to grow up. This is kind of more on a personal note but i recently found out i have cancer, no worries im ready to beat and you what i will beat it but my 10 grade year is pretty much shot, i prolly wont be in school till probally a few months or so in my junior year, so basically my high schools years are going by even faster than they all ready are, so im just am trying to go ahead and look at colleges and try and mengal and get to know college bound students a little while im sick because ill be in your shoes before i know it.
