Posted By: How May I Help You NC on October 15, 2014 The countdown begins for the nation’s largest HBCU football showdown at the Florida Blue Florida Classic on November 22, 2014 in Orlando. With a brand new stadium being unveiled, this year’s game is expected to be bigger and better with more than 50,000 expected, a new energy, and improved fan experiences. To top it off, Grammy award nominated artist 2 Chainz is confirmed to perform live at a pre-game day party in the stadium. Compared to previous years where the entertainment lineup was more suitable to a mature demographic, the move to secure 2 Chainz is an effort to engage and attract a younger demographic to the game in addition to the loyal alumni and Florida Classic fans who support year after year. "With 2 Chainz performing live, it adds another element to the fan experience with a high energy performance to get fans ready for a face-off as two of the greatest rivalries in sports go toe-to-toe for the win,” shares Kellen Winslow, Athletic Director, Florida A&M University and NFL hall-of-famer. Two DJs will get the crowd warmed up during the pre-game day party in the stadium followed by 2 Chainz performing a few of his hit songs. A few lucky contest winners will also have VIP Access passes to get up-close and personal during the performance. Other game highlights include an electrifying halftime performance as the Marching 100 and the Marching Wildcats battle it out on the field. **Tickets for the game and the weekend events are on sale now and can be purchased online at FloridaClassic.org. Ticketholders will be able to enjoy the pre-game performance by 2 Chainz at no additional charge.
