The Tom Joyner Foundation and Denny’s Corporation (NASDAQ: DENN), franchisor and operator of one of America’s largest full-service restaurant chains, have partnered for the third year for the Hungry For Education (HFE) scholarship program for students attending selected Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
The program starts October 15 and ends December 1, 2014. Full-time students at any fully certified HBCU can apply for the scholarship. Students must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 to 4.0.
To be eligible to get a summer internship at Denny’s working on projects involving HBCUs, the 12 finalists will submit up to a 90-second video describing his or her project
