Posted By: How May I Help You NC on October 29, 2014 The spirit of rivalry was definitely in the air for the fourth annual AT&T Nation's Football Classic®. This year's Classic theme, Battle in the Capital marked the end of a remarkable four-year run in the football game for Morehouse College and Howard University. To commemorate this longstanding rivalry, the social media campaign, I Love This Rivalry allowed alumni and Classic fans to reflect on their love for the rivalry. The highlight of the weekend was the 37th meeting between the Morehouse College Maroon Tigers and the Howard University Bison on Saturday, September 13 at RFK Stadium. For the fourth year in a row, Howard defeated Morehouse 35-17. Surrounding the Classic game was a four-day weekend full of events that began on Thursday, Sept. 11 with the Presidential Symposium and continued through Sunday, September 14.
