Thae Bahamas' Minister of State For Investments Speaks At Grambling State University

Khaalis E. Rolle, M.P., will deliver Grambling State University’s fall commencement address on Friday, December 19. “We are privileged to welcome the Hon. Khaalis E. Rolle, M.P., back home to GSU as our special guest and graduation speaker,” said GSU Interim President Cynthia Warrick. “He’s a stellar academic, a great leader and a remarkable example of the type of professionals grown at our institution.” Rolle will speak at the December 19 ceremony at 10 a.m. ceremony in the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center on the university campus. Before his appointment to office, he served as the Chief Marketing Officer for the Bahamas Ferries, the country’s leading Inter-island marine transportation service provider. Prior to Bahamas Ferries, Khaalis worked as the Family Island & Turks & Caicos Manager for Esso Standard Oil, a division of the Exxon Mobile Corporation. Among his successes, he was responsible for the establishment of the firs Exxon Avitat outside of Europe and North America. The Exxon Avitat Brand is globally recognized for high quality Fix Base Operations for Private Aircrafts. Rolle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Grambling State University, an MBA in International Business from the University of Miami, a Certificate in Management Studies from the University of Miami and a Certificate in International Trade Policy and Negotiations from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, Barbados. Khaalis is married to Nadia McHardy-Rolle, a Senior Finance Manager in the airline industry. Khaalis is the father of two sons and one daughter.
