on the regular, a brah would not have paid it attention, but my spirit spoke to me and brought understanding. In the word it is written what agreement does God have with idols, later he speaks on,and says what agreement do I have with unbelievers, none. When a Gospel artist, does a song with a secular artist, even if they sound good, it gives the impression that, ok, the church is only interested in the music and not the lifestyle of the artist or message giver. A minister is not just one who preaches in the pool pit, but with actions and gifts. This act ministers the wrong thing in the church, and to unbelievers outside the church, because there is no level of intergrity to uphold, not tradition, but a standard of Godliness from the word. Later the other artist returns to do what they want to do. Thats my thought on that.

I think it's great! What effect will a gospel artist have if they only associate and work with other gospel artists? It gives them opportunity to influence and create relationships with non-believers and thereby win them over. Of course this won't always lead to a conversion, but if nothing else, the secular artist are exposed to a standard and an example of how we live. The world has a very warped sense of Christianity because they only see the crazy, deranged and ignorant believers who act weird and condemn everyone to hell. They don't get to see a balanced ambassador of Christ in the normal flow of life. Ministry doesn't only tke place in the church building, but everywhere and in every industry-Let your light shine! The shine only matters if your surrounded by darkness...
