Posted By: How May I Help You NC on January 12, 2015 We seek a leader and administrator of our Teacher Fellowship Program providing twelve individuals with an intense yearlong experience of service and leadership development in a full scholarship residential high school serving students who have not experienced success in traditional settings. The fellows are members a new generation of leaders in education reform. The Director recruits a diverse cohort of emerging educational reformers, designs and delivers their yearlong professional development and supports fellows through their many intersecting roles at Eagle Rock School & Professional Development Center. The Director manages the operational and programmatic elements and reporting duties common to all Public Allies sites nationally. The ideal candidate has a habit of improving everything s/he touches. We never quit looking for new ways to increase the quality of the fellowship experience. The Director also shows great attention to detail and has a track record of providing reports and data to Public Allies National on a timely basis. The candidate makes a lifestyle choice to become a contributing member of a renowned independent boarding high school serving a diverse student body. The Director performs the primary duties described above as well as duties related to the residential nature of the high school including advisory, evening and weekend duty, community meetings, chores, service projects and house team participation.
