Hampton, Virginia -  Author T.L. Allen's Series of  Books Preserves the Legacy of African Africans Global Accomplishments.  Allen's Book chronicles the history of African Americans in Cinema and shows how many of the doors were opened through persistence, determination, talent, genius, fortitude and strength preserving a legacy.

African Americans forge ahead discovering their identity in a culture that once restricted African Americans from practicing cultural beliefs, traditions with restrictions of rights, Black Achievers Commemorative Edition will introduce to you the identification of gifted African Americans with priceless skills resulting in tangible results, Like a phoenix rising from the ashes of despair the African American experience in the United States of America has not been an easy one, but there is not one thing that the people of African American decent has not done when it comes to finding their place in this world, despite the oppressive limits set upon them from the pain and evils of slavery, to the Jim Crow Laws of segregation, where social conditions, voting rights, education, economic opportunities, were limited while being labeled a second class citizen.

The Great Migration a mass exodus of African Americans out of the deep rural Southern states, to Northeast, West and Midwestern States such as New York, Chicago, Detroit, California, Philadelphia, Cleveland. From 1910 to 1970 blacks moved out of the Deep South states where lynching, lack of opportunities, and, raging violence were major factors, they went further north and to other major cities in hope of opportunities, better employment, better housing, after the time of the Great Depression.

The Great Migration of blacks gave rise to the Harlem Renaissance. The New Negro Movement was born.

The land of hopes and dreams, a place where repressed talent could finally be set looses, the explosion of a whole new culture of expression, and the freedom to express thyself.

After years of oppression throughout all the urban areas in the United States of America Harlem, New York was the largest part, spanning from 1919 to the mid 1930’s. Harlem was the final destination for a whole group of migrant from all around the country, African Americans, Africans, Caribbean’s, all seeking a better life and opportunities. In 1910 to 1917 Harlem became an affluent black neighborhood; 135th street to Fifth Avenue was bought and owned by black realtors.

The Harlem Renaissance had grown out of the significant changes throughout the African American community since the arrival to the land of freedom and expression, and since the abolitionist of slavery. The new stride of art, literature, music, dance and theater would serve as a stepping stone to uplift the African American people who had been browbeaten for so long.

African American has changed the world in a very big way, and is finally being acknowledged for their global impacts, even advancing to heights of becoming the first African American President of the United States of America. People have overcome the racial barriers that once limited them from doing and becoming what they were born to be.

Forging ahead into the New World. African American history is celebrated all across the globe. Proving that their capabilities are beyond what’s thought to be possible, the cultures tremendous power comes from our identities. Our personal identities in which we all are born with are in a constant state of evolution, only because we all hold the power to reinvent ourselves and create and become the best we can possibly be.
