Posted By: Will Moss on March 05, 2015 FEATURED Content Recent grad back to Dec 2013 or May 2015 & Dec 2015 Grads Entry Level Engineering positions: Under direct supervision, this job applies diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to broad variety of assignments and related fields. Acts as a single point of contact for mid-complexity projects for the department. Develops knowledge and skills within a specific practice area. Evaluates, selects, and applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional projects with few complex features. Collaboratively uses judgment to determine adaptations in methods for non-routine aspects of assignments. Works on small projects or portions of larger projects. Supports development of standards and engineering guidelines, conducts analysis on system performance and reliability strategy and provides recommendations. Candidates must have cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher to be considered These are entry level positions for our Power Delivery group (both transmission and distribution), responsibilities for our engineering positions are listed below • Complete job assessments for designed work requests • Perform and monitor engineering maintenance assigned to area • Continually create and update engineering process and practices; maintain proper engineering files and records • Assist with O&M and Capital budgets assigned to area • Assist in meeting reliability goals for company • Assist in organizing, planning and execution of large capital projects • Assist with assembling job packages, routing project estimates, updating record drawings and acts as a technical field representative • Assures quality, quantity and completeness of engineering required • Perform basic engineering calculations, project specifications, reports and related project schedules • May be responsible for compliance documentation for equipment testing and maintenance • May plan and schedule engineering efforts associated with assigned projects • Complete job assessments for designed work requests * Electrical, Mechanical and industrial engineer highly preferred Click this link to view and apply for this job!
