Harris-Stowe State University Office of Career Services will host its annual career fair on Tuesday, March 17, from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the Emerson Performance Center Board of Regents Gymnasium.



This year’s fair is open to college students and college graduates.

 

Career fair sponsors include RR Donnelley, Isle of Capri Casino Hotel and the USDA Forest Service. Enterprise Rent-a-Car, World Wide Technology, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Federal Aviation Administration, the Drug Enforcement Agency, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Sherwin Williams, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Edward Jones, Kraft Foods and Harrah’s Casino are just a few of the participating companies.

 

Everyone is expected to dress professionally and have enough resumes on hand to distribute to multiple employers. For more information on the career fair, contact Director of Career Services Wanda McNeil at (314) 340-3512. 

 

Harris-Stowe State University, located in midtown St. Louis, is a fully accredited four-year institution that offers 16 degree programs in the areas of teacher education, business and arts & sciences. In 2013, HSSU ranked No. 1 in the state in degree production of African-Americans in mathematics and ranked 4th of 13 public institutions in the degree production of African-Americans (Missouri Department of Higher Education). The university, which has been in existence for more than 150 years, offers the most affordable bachelor’s degree in the state of Missouri.
