The Closer I get.... The Harder It Is

Posted By: Tavorace Williams on January 09, 2006 I've finally made it to senior status, but not without going though hard trials. I reside in Greenvile SC, and attend Woodmont High School and i'll tell you it's not easy for me. I moved to SC 2 years ago from Columbus Ohio to live with my mother, who was recovering from a drug addiction. I enrolled into Woodmont high school that summer to register for my classes. The woman that was doing my enrollment said that she couldn't find my transcript in the system. When she finally found it, she said that I would have to take two classes over. I thought to myself that there was some mistake. She said that they were on a different grading scale than my previous school and it just so happenes that I flunked the course on their grading scale. I asked what were the classes that i need, she said it was my 9th and 10th grade english classes. Now I was supposed to be a junior that year but i had to start over from the ninth grade level. Yeah I was mad but there was nothing that could have done about it, my mother wasn't any help so I had to do it alone. Last year I doubled up on my courses and now I'm on my way to graduation................... But first I got to pass this final exam in Algebra 2, and math is NOT my strongest subject. If I pass this exam i can cruise the rest of the way to walk across the stage. But I gotta keep my head in the game.
