UNMASKING HATRED AND BRINGING IT TO THE SURFACE

Within the past week or so surrounding the tragic shooting of those who lost their lives during a Bible Study at a church in Charleston, SC, the world has seen President Obama in a different light. However, he is the same man who took office in 2008.  He is a man with a heart, a spirit and a soul who was created in the image of God as we all were!  But many refused to see him for who he is as created and ordained by God for such a time as this.  And yet Ecclesiastes 3 speaks about there being a time and a place for everything under the heaven; a divine purpose!  Let's review it!

Ecclesiastes 3:1-22 ~ To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:  A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.  What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?  I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.  He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.  I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.  And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.  I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.  And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.  I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.  I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.  For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.  All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.  Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?  Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?

On June 24th, I received an email link to a sermon being delivered by a pastor with the right concept, but he started out using the wrong words to explain God's heart.  Nonetheless, he is not that far off.  God can in deed use whomever HE wants in whatever context HE pleases because HE is God!  Therefore, HE will and HE can use various resources (people, places and things) to confound the wise and to expose truth.  Did HE not use a donkey or a burning bush to get HIS point across to others?  Did HE not use Jeremiah, Elijah and Elisha to include other prophets like Moses?  Contrary to popular belief, God is not deliberately fostering and encouraging division by using President Barack Obama.  God's word is very clear, HE is not the author of confusion, but one who encourages unity.  For the past eight years since President Obama has been in office, the issues concerning the state of the world's race relations through hatred and bigotry has been magnified on the basis of who he is on the outside.

This world with emphasis on the state of humanity has been spiraling out of control for quite some time.  In fact, it started when Lucifer thought he could overthrow God, but it was him who got tossed out of heaven upon the earth.  Since that day, division began and people are too arrogant for one reason or another to see the truth.  And yet we are constantly looking for someone to blame rather than taking a long hard look at ourselves to see what we have become to include the error of our ways.  We strive for power and control outside of the word of God to be recognized as being more highly than we ought too!  It is us through our narrow minded ways who bring about division to condemn this nation to Hell.  Romans 16: 16-18 states, Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you.  Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.  For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.  The churches, unfortunately, are also divided!  

Ironically, many have made reference to the United States of America being founded upon Biblical, Christian or Godly principles and, yet, they cry separation of church and state.  How contrary is that?  God has given us plenty of opportunity to get our act together to get on one page!  A chance at bonding and forging a relationship not only with HIM, but with each other!  An opportunity to grow in unity and in love, but we seem to be content and insistent in encouraging hatred and war while using commando tactics in the name of politics to do it.  We talk of putting an end to terrorism while being terrorists to one another all under the pretense of having our nation’s best interest at heart!  And, there’s that double standard again!  Do as I say, but not as I do!  We put ourselves in the fiery furnace and now it is going to get hotter for those living outside of the word of God!  Are you are protected or condemned by the mark (read Revelation 7 and 13)?  Which are you?
