Posted By: Reginald Culpepper on July 21, 2015 Teachers and leaders of colleges, high schools, and college-prep programs, who need an innovative, educational resource, for preparing students to succeed in college, have a new solution. Acing The Undergrad: The Show is a ten-episode web-series available for free on YouTube that teaches students how to navigate through college, using ten principles of college success. Based on the book, Acing The Undergrad: Your Personal Mentor, this web-series can be used in high school and college classrooms, as well as in individual homes to teach students the principles of college success. The first episode was released on YouTube July 12, 2015, and a new episode will be released each Sunday. “When we created Acing The Undergrad, it was a priority to make sure we designed the web-series to be educational and entertaining,” says Emeka Anazia, co-owner of Acing The Undergrad and director of the web-series. “Since I personally know how much work goes into planning college success classes, we also include application questions for students at the end of each episode to spark group discussion and supplemental activity sheets on our website for the convenience of teachers and professors. Our previously released book, Acing The Undergrad: Your Personal Mentor, which delves deeper into the ten principles, can also be utilized as another classroom resource.” Teachers and leaders of colleges, high schools, and college-prep programs (even the students themselves) looking for an educational, yet entertaining alternative to traditional methods of learning about college-success watch Acing The Undergrad.
