y o Spelman College class of 2008 nah i got the answer to that one. first of all im dark skin , beautiful and got hair down my back,long hair that is. second of all the reason why guys chase ova lite skin females is because thats wat they believe is beautiful. i tell them instead of wasting time, they might as well go with white girls, because its the truth. back in the day, the willie lynch syndrome poisoned the mind of the black race , by sayin the lighter complexion is prettier. yes its true, and that same mentality still exists today. sad but true. i on the other hand , think and kno that i look better than all these lightskin females with long hair in the world. im just that beautiful Thursday, March 24th 2005 at 3:04PM

You know how they say light skinned n*ggas is out of style, well Im finding more and more dudes who like darker girls now. But it seems to me that light dudes are attracted to darker girls and lighter girls are attracted to darker males. I think it all depends on your taste in the opposite s*x. Keisha Ralliford Hampton University class of 2009 Girl, I think its just something automatic for men. A light skinned girl with long hair stands out in the crowd, just like a bright skinned guy with pretty hair would. My bf is half white and half black, he stands out to me because I can look up and spot his s*xiness a mile away. Maybe its the same for a man. I don't know, but I never had trouble finding a man to appreciate me, and I'm the average, medium-brown girl on the streets lol. I guess its just a thing that eventually won't matter. shannon sewell Cheyney University of Pennsylvania class of 2009 it aint fair to call the light skinned girls heffas.although,I can feel your frustration,alot of people just think light skin stands out.Light skin girls may get alot of love from the guys,but they get alot of slack from our black sisters.we dont need to hate,we need to stick together.Personally,I like a darker male.I would rather have a darker husband,so our kids wont be so light.It's sad ,but I dont want my kids to go through the stuff I had to go through with my own people because of my color.i was very light as a child,with long hair(which I cut) and I would constantly have girls testin my gangsta'.I had to prove my blackness for too long.It wasn't long before they found out,I was just a as black as them.
