Posted By: Hija Chang on August 07, 2015 FEATURED Content Responsible for the management of Boston Universitys Fitness and Recreation Aquatic Center facility, operations and programming. Develop, organize and oversee a large and comprehensive aquatic program For adults and children including: physical education classes, Noncredit classes, camps, private lessons, recreational swimming, and a variety of rentals. Administer more than twelve events per year for varsity swimming and diving, club water polo, synchronized swimming and age group clubs. Provide superior customer service to members, guests and staff, provide timely feedback and communicate effectively with diverse groups. Maintain Massachusetts health code compliance by keeping accurate records, working with the maintenance team to ensure proper pool chemistry, hiring qualified staff and overseeing general cleanliness and organization of the aquatics center. Hire, train, coordinate and provide performance feedback to one assistant manager of aquatics, two graduate assistants, and approximately 150 lifeguards and instructors. Oversee planning and execution of monthly in-service training programs and other staff development meetings. Coordinate pool schedule for all user groups including athletics, physical education, non-credit, childrens aquatics, club sports, intramurals, rentals, members and aquatics staff events. Maintain equipment for all groups including diving boards, timing equipment, and competitive and recreational equipment. Click this link to view and apply for this job!
