Posted By: Hija Chang on August 19, 2015 FEATURED Content The Department of Environmental Quality, Office of Air Data Analysis and Planning is seeking a qualified applicant to prepare a plan to and implement the EPA Clean Power Plan (CPP) rule to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from the power sector. This position will have the principal staff responsibility for developing and documenting the compliance plan in response to the final CPP. In doing so, this position will work with DEQ policy and regulatory staff to develop any legislation and regulations needed to implement the plan. This position will also assist Division management on the various technical and policy issues relating to the compliance plan, and interact with specific stakeholders and the public during formal and informal reviews of the plan. This position will also be responsible for tracking and reporting of the implementation of the state plan and develop and submit any needed revisions. The position will also serve as staff expert on renewable energy and energy efficiency programs that may be included in or used to supplement the state plan.
