I am super excited about celebrating my HBCU homecoming with you even though I am not there in the flesh. My school spirit is amongst us though. I have reflected back on my younger years and realized that attending Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU) and participating in the award-winning Florida A&M University “Marching 100” Band help bring me out of my little shell. I was so timid, but now I am fierce and FABulous since I stepped foot on that historical campus. My words and energy cannot show enough gratitude for the experience.
