Sponsor the FVSU Chapter of Collegiate 100 Scholarship and Fundraising Gala!

Dear Prospective Sponsor,

The Fort Valley State University Chapter of the Collegiate 100 is requesting your sponsorship for the 2nd Annual Infinite Blessings in Disguise Scholarship & Awards Gala. The respective date, time, and location of this year’s event is Sunday, December 6, 2015 6:00 P.M. at Fort Valley State University’s Student Amenities Center on 1005 State University Drive, Fort Valley, GA 31030.

Who are we?
The Collegiate 100, the programmatic arm for the 100 Black Men of America, Inc., is committed to promoting volunteerism and improving the community through mentorship, scholarship, and community service. We believe in serving our community by exemplifying ourselves as positive role models for the next generation of leaders.

Why are we asking YOU?
Our 1st Annual Gala raised more than $10,000 in sponsorship with over 150 persons in attendance. We were able to provide multiple scholarships to deserving students who struggle with financial hardships in college and connect students to career opportunities. This year, we plan to exceed the mark and set the bar for $15,000.

No amount is ever too small. Every penny, every piece of advice, and every service you can provide is beneficial. There are five sponsorship tiers to choose from: a) $1,000; b) $750; c) $500; d) 250; e) $100. More than anything, we want your participation. Each year college students around the nation graduate in search of opportunities and guidance, your contribution or presence can potentially make the difference in changing someone’s future for the better. Let’s not miss this moment!

The theme for this year’s gala is Infinite Blessings in Disguise. Most Fort Valley State University students are first generation college students and therefore face unique challenges. It is our hope that these students see their humble beginnings as blessings in disguise and continue striving toward greater success. Your sponsorship plays a critical role in this success-oriented process.

What benefits do YOU get from sponsorship?
When you purchase your ticket or table, the program includes a networking reception, awards show, keynote speaker, formal dinner, and red carpet access. If you or your organization are interested in providing sponsorship or charitable donations, we accept cash, check or money order, which can be made out to the 100 Dream Fund.

We also have 501(c)(3) status with the FVSU Foundation. If you are interested in receiving a gift receipt to use for your tax returns, please attach your residential address and email, as well.
For any questions or concerns, contact our Director of Communications, Mr. Lawrence G. Malloy, at (478) 973-8058. Thank you in advance for your time and we look forward to seeing you there!

Respectfully,

Lawrence G.

Malloy, Director of Communications
