North Vs. South Women

Posted By: President One on January 19, 2006 Can someone out here other than me see the difference in women in the North and South. I went to Jackson St for 2 1/2 years. I just came back to Michigan to attend school because of the money i wll have my last year of school. Where i will be back in the south at Texas Southern... Anyway I CANT STAND NORTHERN WOMEN NOW! It is a huge difference in the way the two act by far. A down south women is the type i feel i could bring home and to be real i always had the mind set that my wife would be from the south. Women from the north tend to think they run the world and they club,smoke,drink, and party to much. It's like they are out of touch with what is going on. And body wise lol it's a wash. One day my best friend which is this girl ask jsu ask me " Why do all Detroit/michigan girls have that funny shape"? I was like what u mean? She said they have Flat asses and big tops. I was like no you dreaming. Now that i'm back home it is so damn true. It's a sad day when a girl has to wear a belt like a dude just to keep her fitted jeans up. Lol but anyway it's not all about that. But leadies and Gents do u see a difference? there's NOTHING like southern gentleman- but just like there are some belles with big tops and flat bottems..ahem.. there are some amazing men from up north! i think the dif. is as belles we were taught different. A lot of southern girls know how to treat a man- fix a good dinner and rub his back for dessert- it's in our nature! I've neva been up North and u have def. not made it sound inviting LOL i'll be sure to stick w/ sum dudes if i go up there

That is not true, it depends how you were raised in the household and your morals in beliefs. I am from New York and I respect individuals for who they are. I care about people. You have to be careful that there are women out there who would make you think they are one way in order to get what they want from you (same with men). I went to a HBCU down south and some of the young ladies were acting the same way as the ladies in the North as you said who "think they run the world and they club,smoke,drink, and party to much". It seems that you just encountered a raucous group of young ladies. Just pray and ask God for guidance, you never know who he has for you. Hey, I am a Detroit girl, and we don't all have funny shapes!! We don't all smoke, club, or drink. Just as there are some women with qualities that u don't like in the north, there are also some women like that in the south. I think people raised in the south are more laid back and have more of that "southern hospitality". In the north things are more fast paced; it's an entirely different lifestyle. I don't think u should say that you don't nothern women anymore, you should say that u don't like the qualities that SOME northern women possess that u don't like- we're not all the same, just as all southern women aren't the same.

True...I def take a southern brotha anyday...but All us northern ladies aint shaped wrong!!! Cause i know my booty aint flat! i mean i no itz a lot of gurlz here that are but there are still plenty of us who arent. But them northern brothas be trippin!!! They be tryin 2 ova rule a little 2 much...I mean if im ya gurl why you guna trip ova lil thangs? Cuz if im wit you...Im wit you. N i def feel like i can bring home a southern brotha...Have to pick n choose up here...You know, check if they crazy b4 you even let ya friends meet up here, lol!

I'm from New York, and I have to say I definitely disagree when you said women up north tend to drink smoke club and party too much. Not all up North girls are like that AT ALL. Cause I've been in VA for a few months now, and these girls down here are a trip. Half the mess they do, girls in NY wouldn't even think of. So I think you need to probably rewrite your words. Cause it seems like you stereotyping the whole northern part, just by what you've seen in Detroit. But me personally, I have come across a few southern gentlemen. But as far as that goes, I just love the whole persona of a New York man. That's just me. But all over, everyone's not the same, so you can't judge my just one area you've been to.
