Nor do we have to allow the influences of a diseased and dark world to fulfill its single solitary objective to separate us from the LOVE OF GOD as we unconsciously idolize sin. If that task is accomplished, then it “truly” demonstrates the manifested evidence of us suffering from an infectious diseased soul which is drunk off the power of darkness. A withered and dying soul which is void of humanity and tricked into thinking you are in control with each taste of power - like a drug. Drifting deeper and deeper into the abyss by the disillusionment of right and wrong! Fully seduced by the adversary and the things of the world while your flesh dominates and interferes with your will to live an eternal and glorious life with the FATHER who created you! You in turn, seek to destroy everything in your path by taking what you will, inflicting pain on others and giving no thought to the damaging consequences of your actions. Although, “many” of us are considered to be the walking wounded who are blinded by darkness to the TRUTH around us, we, people in general, are not expecting others to be the wiser; especially, those who believe themselves to be far above you in their way of thinking, education and position in life for you to have any power to stop them in their tracks. to all [them to] whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and [let] him [be] your fear, and [let] him [be] your dread. ~ Isaiah 8:12-13 On the basis of my thinking and my writings, I have been accused of or viewed by many as being a conspiracy theorist. YES, I know we “all” view things differently; that’s because we “all” are wired differently in our thinking as perceived by what we see or don’t see! You see the glass as being half empty and I may see that same glass as being half full. I believe, without a doubt, that there is a God in heaven who sits up high and looks down low upon “all” that is going on in the world. I have been allowed to experience HIM for myself to know HE is real; and, I AM as much a part of HIM as HE is of me through the existence AND connection of the HOLY SPIRIT who lives deep within my being to see the manifestation of HIS HAND moving all around me! I AM in agreement with the Father, the Son – Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit who are one in the same; BUT, performing in different capacities, positions and uniqueness just as I AM unique to HIM! You, not being able to see what I see does not equate to what I see as being untrue. It simply means I AM more sensitive to my surroundings to be able to discern that which you cannot see, are not willing to see under the surface, or are hoping I do not see to know what you already know to be true as you attempt to deceive me. Therefore, I will not allow your attempts to derail me from moving forward in acceptance of my inheritance and God-ordained assignment. Which would you rather be? A person who is able to see with your eyes wide open; or, one who can only see with your eyes wide shut while allowing yourself to be deceived by everything and everyone around you! What if you had the ability to see in 3D while relying on the LORD to direct your every step and being willing to utilize discernment and welcome God’s gift of knowledge, wisdom and understanding to see the world in a panoramic view through HIS Eyes! Being open minded to seeing the natural in the supernatural; BUT, through Christ receiving the generous gift of His life to accept and embrace who you were created to be through this precious gifting and calling! A call to acknowledge an urgent task of spreading the gospel (good news) to others who are willing to listen, receive and walk by FAITH in obedience and trust in the Lord – regardless of their nationality, social status or position in life. It’s news I’m most proud to proclaim, this extraordinary Message of God’s powerful plan to rescue everyone who trusts him, starting with Jews and then right on to everyone else! God’s way of putting people right shows up in the acts of faith, confirming what Scripture has said all along: “The person in right standing before God by trusting him really lives” [Romans 1:16-17, MSG]. Therefore, being labeled a strange and weird outcast that many tend to blackball, reject and ostracize on the basis of their personal agenda or perception can be a good thing! Why? Because Psalms 4:3 states, “But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.” Being fully awake to discern your surrounding environment is truly a whole lot better than being fully asleep or half awake. Being fully awake is a sign of being fearless! People who do not want to see the truth for what it really is - are the ones who, unfortunately, are easily influenced by lies and negativity thus fueled by their own fears! If those living in fear refuse to see and to acknowledge truth, oh well! You, just simply, need to continue to pray being fully armed with more ammunition in being fully awake not to fall for the tricks and the schemes of the enemy. Each and every person on planet earth is uniquely made by God. And, we are uniquely special to HIM on the basis of our purpose and God-given assignments. Even if you find yourself surrounded by total darkness, you MUST not COMPROMISE what you know to be TRUE just to fit in and to be accepted by those who do not understand you! If we as believers who are committed to following Jesus aren't willing to say the hard things to those in our lives, who will? God has put us in position in our families, our workplaces, and even our neighborhoods to share the truth in love. Since they didn’t bother to acknowledge God, God quit bothering them and let them run loose. And then all hell broke loose: rampant evil, grabbing and grasping, vicious backstabbing. They made life hell on earth with their envy, wanton killing, bickering, and cheating. Look at them: mean-spirited, venomous, fork-tongued God-bashers. Bullies, swaggerers, insufferable windbags! They keep inventing new ways of wrecking lives. They ditch their parents when they get in the way. Stupid, slimy, cruel, cold-blooded. And it’s not as if they don’t know better. They know perfectly well they’re spitting in God’s face. And they don’t care—worse, they hand out prizes to those who do the worst things best [Romans 1:28-32, MSG]! When you are able to see clearly and possess the ability to articulate your observation both verbally and in writing, those around you will attempt to discredit you anyway they can to influence others to disbelieve you! BUT, when God is in the mix and you have rightfully aligned yourself with HIM, HE will unveil (uncover), reveal (expose) and unmask TRUTH. HE will, quite frankly, spoil the plot and plans of the enemy every time. You just have to be patient and when the time comes, every one of us will have to face the consequences of what we have done in this life! God will pay back to each person according to his deeds [justly, as his deeds deserve]: to those who by persistence in doing good seek [unseen but certain heavenly] glory, honor, and immortality, [He will give the gift of] eternal life. But for those who are selfishly ambitious and self-seeking and disobedient to the truth but responsive to wickedness, [there will be] wrath and indignation. There will be tribulation and anguish [torturing confinement] for every human soul who does [or permits] evil, to the Jew first and also to the Greek, but glory and honor and inner peace [will be given] to everyone who habitually does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For God shows no partiality [no arbitrary favoritism; with Him one person is not more important than another (Romans 2:6-11, AMP)]. THE SPIRIT OF ELITISM Elitism is defined as the belief that certain persons or members of certain classes or groups deserve favored treatment (sense of entitlement) by virtue of their perceived superiority, as in intellect, social status, or financial resources to control, rule or dominate others. Many people, unfortunately, who are in positions of leadership, often see themselves as gods thus putting themselves far above those who are below them in certain positions or capacities to exploit, manipulate, intimidate and abuse at will – all under the disguise of control to include what truth to conceal from others. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think [of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith [ Romans 12:3]. To add insult to injury, on Saturday, April 30, 2011, a Hazmat Team was deployed to the US Department of Energy (DOE) Headquarters’ building which is located at 1000 Independence Avenue, SW in Washington, DC to investigate a particularly harmful package or substance. It is not clear as to the nature or volume of the substance, how it happened to appear or who initially discovered it other than the possibility of it being transported through the Friday weekend mail. However, when employees arrived to work on Monday, May 2, 2011, there was no mention of the events that took place that weekend. There was no warning or notification message of any kind as a precautionary measure to alert the DOE employees of a potentially dangerous or hazardous chemical substance spreading throughout the atmosphere of their working environment should they start to experience any symptoms or allergic reaction. As people started to get sick all over the building and began to react to the smell or existence of an air borne substance that caused for some: headaches, tightness in the chest, closing throat, burning flesh, itchy skin rash, hives, and blisters, they would report to the nurses station one-by-one for care. Upon being attended to by the nursing staff, they were questioned as to their apparent condition or symptoms that persisted and varied one from another in which they were administered allergy medication, Aspirin, Epée pins and oxygen due to not being able to breath. On Tuesday, May 3, 2011 of the following day, as the substance still lingered and more were affected, another Hazmat Team was deployed to the building of the US Department of Energy between 7 and 8 pm for yet another sweep of what they knew to be already present on Saturday, 30 April 2011 during the initial sweep of the building. Upon complaining about feeling ill or experiencing an allergic reaction to something within the atmospheric existence of the building, some employees were made to feel as if it were all in our heads or that we were making it all up (exaggerating) just to get attention. Unfortunately, many possibilities were given to us to down play what really took place and still not once – to this day – were we given full disclosure (to my knowledge) to the possible threat of Anthrax or a fraction of some chemical that was delivered to and released within the building in the same manner as a number of schools throughout the Washington Metropolitan area within that same timeframe. In stead, as a “risk management strategy” the three out of four (MACK, LEWIS, LANNING, ALLEN-BENARD) individuals who were impacted the most on the fourth floor of the Office of Chief Human Capital Officer (CHCO) were called into an office by the Deputy CHCO, the HR Director, and the head of the DOE Security Team to be interrogated as if we were criminals who devised a scheme to release the chemicals ourselves – on one scale. On another scale, we were told that there was nothing to worry about; otherwise, neither of them would be present in the building. As a secondary measure, I was called into a second meeting by the Chief Learning Officer and told he thought it was strange that only four out of an entire office of approximately 100+ people were the only ones to make mention of being affected by a foreign substance floating throughout the surrounding environment of our workplace. As I mentioned to him, each and every person is different based on our physiological make-up or medical limitations to include how we, our bodies, process the elements in the air along with being more sensitive than others to suffer with asthma, hay fever and allergies; especially, if a person has a medical history of issues with respiratory illness. What affects or impacts one individual may not necessarily impact or affect another. And, we were not the only four affected or impacted; there were others, but they were reluctant to openly say anything at all! Immediately following that discussion or his intent to influence me to believe me I was in the wrong, a mandatory meeting was called to order within the large conference room of 4E-084 in which much of my conversation or explanation was shared with others - word for word to ease their tensions. I was extremely livid by the entire scenario to note how very little to no concern for the safety of others was taken into consideration. And not once were there any reports given to the employees concerning the arrival of the Hazmat Team on that Saturday prior to the Monday the employees returned to work from the weekend ordeal. Instead, we were told numerous (bogus) stories or possibilities for feeling ill to experiencing allergic reactions; such as:
Is the safety of people not important? What happened to accountability, full disclosure or people first? Shouldn’t we have been readily given information to make us aware of how to handle the situation or given an option not to report to work on Monday until the authorities were able to guarantee everything was cleared and under control? Just as second-hand smoke has been proven to be just as deadly or harmful to others as the one doing the actual puffing, breathing in and being exposed to any chemical circulating in an immediate environment can be deadly or harmful to folks with silently long lasting affects over time. The building should have evacuated for a certain number of days to ensure the employees safety. Aside from that, my major concern was for the well-being of my mother who was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer the day before Thanksgiving in November of 2010. She was undergoing radiation and chemotherapy which was extremely taxing to her immune system; therefore, she was hospitalized for brief periods of experiencing complications to her immune system. As her caregiver, I was already a little distraught from the possibility of losing my mother to this disease. In addition, I needed to be sure my contact or exposure to certain elements within the DOE building was not harmful to her in any way. This was my mother! So, why wouldn’t she be my major concern? Why wouldn’t the handling of the entire matter anger me or others for that matter? It then became my responsibility to take the necessary precautions to get a full blood panel screening after experiencing tightness in my chest, coughing, and burning skin to include itching body rashes for the love of my mother. Although we are considered to be expendable, the life of any human being is very important! CONCLUSION When I first started working at the US Department of Energy in January of 2008, I had such great and high expectations concerning my new working environment. I was extremely excited to return to the employment of the Federal government to continue a career in Human Resources after a twenty-three (23) year period of working in the private sector; however, something was terribly wrong. Each day I reported for work, my spirit wrestled and grieved in agony for the souls around me to the point of me finding it increasingly unbearable to be there. Many days I would retreat to the bathroom in tears to pray and to engage in conversation with God for answers about what I was experiencing. No matter what part of the building I was in, no one seemed to be happy or at peace as I began to note a very thick blanket of darkness fueling the rapidly increasing hostile environment. The more I resisted and voiced what I was experiencing and seeing to others, the more they denied it as the attacks on me grew. Crying out to God, I attempted to wrap my head around why HE would usher me into such a vexing environment. Finally, God revealed HIS PLAN as HE opened my eyes to the encasing environment which was intended to teach me about SPIRITUAL WARFARE! The US Department of Energy which God referred to as being the Headquarters of demonic activity was to be my ultimate training ground and HE wanted me to be FULLY aware of my surroundings! They say “experience is the best teacher” and I had been thrown into an arena with a bunch of wolves; similar to Daniel in the lion’s den - with no warning. But God was also teaching me to rely solely on HIM throughout my entire process of meet and greet. I was being given a crash course of sink or swim without a flotation device of any kind – so I thought! As time went on, I learned God was my life preserving vest. God is nothing like man that HE should lie to you - ever! HE values “all” life and honors “all” of HIS promises! When HE created us, HE equipped us all with the same potential and opportunities in life; however, it is up to us to stay on track while evading captivity to the enemy. To do this, you have to be willing to protect yourselves by putting on the whole armor of Christ. When you enlist in the military, there is a possibility of being sent to war (out on the battlefield). When and if that happens, you need to be prepared to be a casualty and a victor. Should you ever find yourself in a casualty position, that does not necessarily equate to you being a prison of war who is not capable of getting free! You have to be committed to changing your way of thinking by renewing your mind to see things differently. Call those things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17)! You have to be willing to choose a viable side and source to take an unmovable stand. You have to be able to see yourself walking on the water with the one who said HE would not leave you nor forsake you (Matthew 14:22-36 and Deuteronomy 31:6)! Yes, the things of the world look so inviting and there are countless things (material objects) available for the taking to excite the flesh! BUT, why would you compromise your soul for temporary satisfaction to join forces with those who would turn their backs on you in a heart beat for the right price? Why would you align yourself with the dark forces of this world; those who have no integrity and sincerity for your well-being or others? Do you realize that when you became a Christian, your body became a temple for the Holy Spirit to live in? His presence in you is a gift to you from God (1 Corinthians 6:19)! Although, He has given us freewill! In other words, man is a free agent and he has the right to choose his own path and follow his own mind when it comes to judging his decisions in this world! Nonetheless, God is very direct and straight forward as it relates to His expectations concerning our ability or willingness to choose what is right over that which is wrong in relationship to HIS WORD. But, He will never force HIS WILL upon us or use manipulation, trickery or deceit – like man. God will move out of our way to allow us the opportunity to set ourselves up and love us just the same! And yet, we, as human beings, push way beyond boundaries each and everyday in an attempt to reason with God about our actions as if we are negotiating some sort of contract. Having freewill does not give us the right to rewrite the law set before us at every given opportunity to justify our wrong doing. LESSONS LEARNED
