Finding Closure

Posted By: Joy Wyatt on January 19, 2006 I need help with finding closure. My older brother was murdered on June 27, 2005. Even though I try so hard, apart of me still can't face the fact that he is gone. Many people tell me that I'm still in denial but I don't look at that way. I think that it is because I'm so use to be with him all the time. After he was murdered , I didn't want to go to school because I knew he would not be able to celebrate with me and visit me but now he is my motivation to go on. I still miss him though and I constantly talk about him. Is it alright to miss a loved one like this? I feel lost without him at times but I know I must live my life. It's so hard to do. sorry to hear that but eventualy you will learn to let go and live b/c im sure that is what he wants you to do become successful and let him be your motivation for success it all takes time and the memories that you and him shared will always remain in your heart. God bless and i wil keep you in my prayers
