Former WSSU quarterback Woodbury heading into CIAA Hall of Fame

Posted By: How May I Help You NC on February 25, 2016 CHARLOTTE — The irony wasn’t lost on Tory Woodbury when he posed for a picture with one of his mentors, Ben Piggott. Woodbury, a former Winston-Salem State quarterback, was more than happy to pose with Piggott and several children on Wednesday at Time Warner Cable Arena during this week’s CIAA tournament. Piggott, the director of the Carl Russell Recreation Center in Winston-Salem, helps coordinate the ball boys and girls for the CIAA tournament each year.
