I Love My HBCU Month is observed during the month of March in remembrance of important people and events in HBCU history and to highlight the contributions HBCUs play in preparing future leaders of tomorrow. The month was established in 2012 by the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) as a way to increase awareness and appreciation of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in the United States. This campaign unites HBCU communities nationwide, including schools, students, faculty, alumni, and supporters with the pride and lifelong connections fostered by HBCUs. Theme This year’s theme is Express Your Pride. TMCF is asking HBCU students, alumni and partners to take a moment to think about their rich HBCU experience, and tell us about it!
