Coca-Cola Alumni Matching Give Challenge

Posted By: Hija Chang on May 03, 2016

HOW IT WORKS

The Coca-Cola family recognizes the rich history, tradition of excellence and the noteworthy achievements of Clark Atlanta University alumni. In recognition of trailblazing alumni and in an effort to keep this legacy alive, the Coca-Cola Foundation has awarded CAU a $1,000,000.00 alumni challenge grant. Coke will match dollar-for-dollar any personal donation CAU alumni make above and beyond their largest previous gift. That means $2,000,000.00 more in critical scholarship support and resources for the more than 1,700 students who rely on us to close the financial gap - but we can only get there with your help. Your past contributions have turned CAU into the dynamic, innovative institution we are today. Alumni gifts have made a difference in so many students’ lives, students like Mary Cowser Alexander - the first African America female to appear in Coca-Cola advertising. We are paying tribute to Mary Alexander over the next few months, as well as other extraordinary CAU alumni like visionary, two-time Tony Award-winning director Kenny Leon. Earlier this year, Mr. Leon's The Wiz aired live on NBC to record audiences around the world.

HOW To GIVE

You can donate immediately by selecting theTime to GIVE Now button to the left. But before selecting the giving feature, please consider an even more significant investment in our future with a gift above and beyond your last gift to CAU. Help us take advantage of this tremendous matching opportunity so that we can continue to create opportunities for future students. If you would like to make a greater impact, find out if your employer has a matching gift program by simply selecting the matching gift link on the giving page or contact us at 404-880-6189.
