Destinee Williams: On Track for Success

Senior Destinee Williams has learned the value of hard work both on and off the field. The student-athlete, peer mentor and university queen has a full schedule packed with classes, meetings and meets. But the track star wouldn’t have it any other way. “The more I do, the more I focus,” said Williams. “It really pushes me to be better. When I had time on my hands, I felt myself falling. Staying focused on my books, my grades and athletics helps me stay on top of my game.”
