President Alfred Rankins Jr. named to Entergy Mississippi’s advisory board

Posted By: How May I Help You NC on May 04, 2016 Alcorn State University’s President, Dr. Alfred Rankins Jr., is joining the advisory board to contribute to the progress of Entergy Mississippi, Inc. Entergy Mississippi, Inc. provides electricity to approximately 445,000 customers in 45 counties. It is a subsidiary of Entergy Corporation. Entergy Corporation is an integrated energy company engaged primarily in electric power production and retail distribution operations. Entergy owns and operates power plants with approximately 30,000 megawatts or electric generating capacity, including nearly 10,000 megawatts of nuclear power. Entergy delivers electricity to 2.8 million utility customers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. Entergy has annual revenues of more than $ 11.5 billion and more than 13,000 employees. In the company’s news release, Entergy Mississippi President and CEO, Haley Fisackerly, expressed how excited he is to add Rankins to the Entergy team. “We are pleased to have someone of Dr. Rankins’ caliber join our advisory board and look forward to him being a part of the Entergy Mississippi family,” said Fisackerly.
