Posted By: How May I Help You NC on May 04, 2016 The 60th Annual Student Research Day at Meharry Medical College took place during Inauguration Week 2016. More than 160 medical, dental and Ph.D. Students presented their insightful research on topics ranging from AIDS/HIV to mental health. The C.W. Johnson HIV AIDS Symposium was held during the afternoon. Dr. Harry Taylor, Assistant Professor at Northwestern University, gave a presentation on “Metabolic Reprogramming of Susceptibility to Viral Infections: a New Path to Broad-Spectrum Antivirals.” In addition, world renowned AIDS researcher and 12th President of Meharry Medical College, Dr. James E.
