CHS senior wins top Marine Corps scholarship

Posted By: How May I Help You NC on May 04, 2016 CATSKILL — Catskill High School senior Lacinda Trimble-Hackett of Palenville has won a $180,000 full four-year scholarship from the U.S. Marine Corps, and will use it to attend Georgia’s Savannah State University, including the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps program. Upon completion, she will be commissioned a Second Lieutenant. Lacinda received the good news in April, at a special announcement ceremony at Catskill High School, where friends and family gathered with Capt. Carolyn Giebel, Gunnery Sgt. Brian Buckwalter and Sgt. James Marchetti of the Marine Corps Recruiting Station in Albany to share the good news. More: http://www.thedailymail.net/news/article_c...
