Morgan State Receives $517,000 Grant for Travelers EDGE Program

Posted By: How May I Help You NC on May 10, 2016 As part of an ongoing partnership with The Travelers Companies, Morgan State University (MSU) has received a $517,000 Travelers Foundation grant. The grant will be used to fund the Travelers EDGE (Empowering Dreams for Graduation and Employment) program in the University’s business and science schools during the 2016-17 academic year. The collaboration was launched at Morgan eight years ago and since that time The Travelers Companies and Morgan State have worked together to help students further their academic ambitions and career goals. “Travelers has been an outstanding corporate partner,“ said Dr. Karen L. Proudford, lead for the MSU Travelers Team. “The time and energy their dedicated employees have devoted to Morgan students are as important as the significant financial investment they’ve made in these young scholars’ futures.” More: http://news.morgan.edu/morgan-state-receiv...
