Former JCSU Receiver Avius Capers Signs with the Carolina Panthers

Posted By: How May I Help You NC on May 19, 2016 Former Johnson C. Smith University wide receiver and Charlotte native Avius Capers has signed with the Carolina Panthers, the team announced today. Capers returns to the Panthers after signing as an undrafted free agent in 2015. While at JCSU, he appeared in 38 games and logged 136 receptions for 1,553 yards and 13 touchdowns.
