Alabama students can now receive grants to pay for college courses while still in high school

Posted By: How May I Help You NC on May 19, 2016 A pilot program designed to help students take college courses while still in high school means more benefits available for people in Alabama. The Department of Education announced it is expanding the Pell grant program to allow low-income high schoolers to apply for funds to cover up to a semester's credit at participating schools. The dual enrollment program is being introduced in nearly two dozen states, including Alabama, with 44 colleges signing on to take part. More: http://www.al.com/news/index.ssf/2016/05/a...
