Jacquea Olday I breathe neosoul, man..I absolutely love soul music, just in general becuase the beat and the groove of the music is as slow as the ocean. My two favorite neosoul artists are Jill Scott & Musiq Soulchild because I feel their words and relate in some many ways. I love Jill for speaking for a black woman's point of view. She speaks from her heart & never shies away from any obstacle as an artist. I feel her music. Musiq is one of my personal favorites because no matter what I'm going through, I could listen to him & feel so good afterwards. I think anyone who like neosoul feels it as much as I do every day. Jacquea Olday I am seventeen years old and I certainly don't listen to the typical music every other teen does. I listen to Dwele, Bilal, Jill Scott( love her music), India Arie(her music is beautiful) , Mint Condition( they can jam),D'Angelo(can sing his butt off),and even Eric Benet. These artists all have something in common...they feel what they sing. Their music/lyrics have meaning. Its not all about money, cars, cash, clothes, and other unnecessary materialistic things.
