Alabama State University Fan Day Set For August 27

Posted By: Reginald Culpepper on August 19, 2016 Alabama State University athletic fans will have a chance to meet and greet the ASU Hornets student-athletes from a variety of sports, which includes volleyball, soccer, cross country and football at the annual ASU Fan Day set for Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. with the autograph session set to begin at 9 a.m. and run through noon. Tables will be set up along the concourse on the main level of the Acadome with members of each of the fall teams available to sign team posters. Following the autograph session, all fans will be invited to step inside the Dunn-Oliver Acadome and cheer on the Lady Hornets volleyball team as they host Towson University at 12:30 p.m. The match is part of the ISTAP Collegiate Cup that ASU is hosting. Later that evening the Lady Hornets will host Tennessee State at 7 p.m., which all fans are encouraged and invited to attend.
